Virginia G. McCullers, age 83 of Cottondale, Florida, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. Virginia was born September 23, 1931 in Malabar, Florida to the late Jesse W. and Lucy H. (Owens) Redding. In addition to being a homemaker, Virginia had worked as an assembly worker in electronics. She was a member of the Cypress Creek Community Church, near Chipley. Virginia loved her family, her church, fishing and working in her flowers. Survivors include: her step-mother, Lona Bell Reddings of Springhill, Florida; her husband of 67 years, Darrell McCullers of Cottondale; three sons, Michael McCullers and wife Theresa of Clermont, Fla., Pete McCullers and wife Linda of Cottondale, Fla., Daniel McCullers and wife Jackie of Tamarac, Florida; two daughters, Sharon Herndon of Greenville, Georgia and Sandra Scalfini of Clermont, Florida; two brothers, James C. Weeks and wife Carolyn of Springhill, Fla., Wayne Weeks and wife Agnes of Alabama; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Cypress Creek Community Church with Pastor James Vickery officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Community Church Cemetery.
