Vickie Sue Wood, age 62 of Wausau, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at her home. Vickie was born September 29, 1951 in Columbus Ohio to the late Frank Sahr and her mother, Lois (McCall) Sahr. A former phone technician at Walt Disney World, she had been a resident of Washington County since 1983, coming from Orlando. Vickie was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Bonifay Chapter. In addition to being an exceptional Mom, she was a wonderful friend to many and dearly loved her family as well as fishing. Survivors include; her mother, Lois Sahr of Orlando; one daughter, Victoria Butler of Wausau; two brothers, Douglas Sahr of Brunswick, Ga. and Donald Sahr of Orlando; and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
