Tressie Mae Griffin, age 78, passed from this life Thursday, July 23, 2015 at her home. She was born in Chipley, FL on February 24, 1937 to George Joyner and Genola Griffin. Tressie worked as a secretary for most of her life and was a life-long resident of Chipley, FL. She was of the Assembly of God faith. Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Frank Griffin. She is survived by her 3 sons James Lee and wife Patty Griffin of Chipley, FL, Belecher and wife Nancy Griffin of Dothan, AL, and Travis Griffin of Chipley, FL. Her daughter Sue and husband George Nembach of Orlando, FL, her brother Leo Joyner of Chipley, FL, her sister Edna Ogburn of Chipley, FL, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Monday, July 27, 2015 at Grace and Glory Church with the Rev. James Guy officiating. Interment will follow in the Barfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
