Obituary

Tina Mae Pippin, 87, of Chipley died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida. She was born February 11, 1925 in Vernon, Florida to Arthur J. Cook and Annie Mae (Weeks) Cook. Mrs. Pippin was Laundry Supervisor at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith and a member of First Free will Baptist Church of Chipley. Mrs. Pippin was a member of T.O.P.S. She is survived by three sons; Dudley Pippin and wife Sue of Madison, Wis., Ernest Pippin and Fiancé Jessie of Bonifay, Fl., and Larry Joe Pippin of Chipley, Fl., two daughters; Peggy Pippin of Chipley, Fl., and Mary June Pippin Mckamey and husband Frank of Carrabelle, Fl., one brother; Winfred Cook of Vernon, Fl., one sister; Inez Corbin of Cottondale, Fl., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great, great, grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Chipley with Reverend Ben Hull officiating. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday March 30, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Weeks Cemetery in Vernon, Florida with Brown Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Freewill Baptist Church building fund. Friends and family may sign the online register at www.brownfh.net
