Timothy Allen Hicks passed away at the age of 53 on Monday, October 28, 2024 at his home in Wausau, Florida. Tim was born at home of natural childbirth in Chipley, Fl on November 17, 1971, to Jim and Margaret Hicks.

He was a proud graduate of Chipley High School and Troy State University.

Tim was a simple man who lived a complicated life. He loved the dirt roads and sand hill ponds of Wausau and South Washington County and would always take the long way home.  His free spirit kept him on the move, never staying in one place to long. Over his short life he amassed friends from all walks of life and cherished each of them.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Margaret Hicks of Chipley, FL., one sister Linda Hicks of Stanford FL.

He is survived by brothers, James S. (Jimmy) Hicks (Dianne) of St. George Island, FL and Michael D. Hicks of Pensacola, FL.

The family would like to extend our appreciation to Emerald Coast Hospice for the care they provided over the past 16 months.
