Stanley Lamar Carmichael, 57, of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his home.  He was born in Hartford, AL to the late Lonnie Carmichael Sr. and Lillie (Jones) Carmichael.

Stanley is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and has worked for the Department of Corrections since 2006.

He is preceded in death by his father.  Survivors include his mother, Lillie Carmichael, two sons, Derek Carmichael and wife Elizabeth, Chad Carmichael and wife Ivy, one brother, Lonnie "Jr." Carmichael, two sisters, Judy Hazell and husband Dan, Gloria Spry and husband Keith.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 P.M.

Memorialization will follow by cremation with Brown Funeral Home & Blue Lake Crematory of Chipley, FL in charge of arrangements.
