Speedy J. Weeks, age 49 of Chipley, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2012 in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital. Speedy was born August 23, 1962 in Chipley to the late Frank and Lois (Branning) Weeks. He had been a life-long resident of Chipley and was a self employed painter. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Buell Beard. Survivors include: two brothers, Johnny Weeks and wife Sandra of Chipley, Larry Weeks and wife Betty of Marianna, Florida; one sister, Mildred Cummings of Tampa. Memorialization will be by cremation. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
