Simon "Sy" Steinman, age 66, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 17, 2012. Mr. Steinman was born September 11, 1945 to the late Herbert Steinman and Clara ( Freeman ) Steinman in Bronx, New York. He was a resident of Bonifay, FL. since 1987 coming from New York and was a member of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife Karen Steinman of Bonifay, FL. One son; Charles Steinman and wife Debra of Spring Lake, NC. One daughter; Carla Stubbs and husband Thomas of Bonifay, FL. One sister; Marlene Sperling of Poughkeepsie, NY. Three grandchildren; Elizabeth, David and Holden Steinman and one great grandchild Aiden Steinman and soon to be Cyrus Steinman. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home Main Street Chapel with the Reverend Bobby Thompson officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
