Shirley Tharp (Maxwell) age 75, Passed away January 16, 2023 in Bristol, Tn.

She graduated from Cottondale High School in 1965 and finished Lively Technical School in Tallahassee.

She worked as a Worker's Compensation Supervisor for Florida Department of Labor. One of her greatest joys was working with the Veterans. She enjoyed bowling and attended National Bowling Tournaments in Las Vegas, Seattle, St. Louis, Baltimore, Milwaukee, and Miami. She loved watching the Florida State Seminoles and was a season ticket holder for several seasons.

Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Frances Tharp and Grandparents, Benjamin and Yolande Tharp. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Mark Zewalk, Nephew, Mackie Zewalk and wife Tatiana, Niece, Mary Thomas and Husband Adam, Great nephew, Dean Thomas, cousins, Evelyn and Cecil Murdock, and numerous other cousins as well as dear friends Jennifer, Julie, and Chrissy in Bristol, Tn.

A Memorial Service will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley, Florida on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. with visitation at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida.
