Shannon (McDaniel) Cook, age 39, of Vernon, Florida passed from this life on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Bonifay, Florida. Shannon had resided in Vernon, Florida the last 5 years. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith and member of the Abigail Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Abigail Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Sowell and Rev. Buzz Kirby officiating . Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, New Hope, Florida with Brown Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel, Chipley, Florida. Shannon is survived by her parents Jerry and Cricket McDaniel, Mobile, Ala. Husband: Jimmy Cook, Vernon, Florida. 2 Sons: Myers Cook, Vernon, Florida and Ryan and wife Ashley Cook, Mobile, Ala. 2 Brothers: Rodney and wife Missy McDaniel, Chipley, Florida and Greg and wife Kim McDaniel, Daleville, Ala. 1 Brother at heart: Jimmy and wife Sheri Boles. Maternal Grandfather: Roy Evans, Elkin, North Carolina. 2 Uncles: Chris and wife Miranda Holcomb, Roaring River, North Carolina and Eddie and wife Michelle Holcomb, Greensborough, North Carolina. 2 Close Friends: Sheila and Nancy. 1 Grandchild: Gracie Cook, Mobile, Ala.
