Ruth Pearl Mainer, 85, of Freeport, Florida passed away Friday, September 17, 2010. She was born October 27, 1924 in Blue Ridge Georgia to Walter and Mary (Richey) Davenport. She was a Fruit Packer. Mrs. Mainer was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of United Pentecostal Church of Freeport, Florida and Calvary Chapel of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil E. Mainer, three brothers; James C. Davenport, Walter E. Davenport and Earnest M. Davenport and one sister; Mary Jane Futch. She is survived by one son; Jay Walter Mainer of Freeport, Florida, three daughters; Patricia G. Harvey of McKinney, Texas, Mary D. McGaha of Covington, Louisiana, and Sheryl L'Huiller of Knoxville, Tennessee, one brother; Charles (Bill) Davenport of Oakhill, Florida, two sisters; Ruby Mae Street of Panama City, Florida, Carolyn Sue Willis of Lakeland, Florida, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Bonnett Pond Church with Reverend Christopher Black officiating. Interment will follow in the Hard Labor Creek Cemetery in Wausau, Fl with Brown Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel.
