Ruth Lucille Adkins, 92 of Fountain, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2025 at the Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chipley, Florida.

Ruth was born on November 26, 1932 in Red Ash, Virginia. A resident of the Florida Panhandle since the 1960's, she was a member of Sandy Mountain Church in Fountain, Florida where she served many years as a Sunday School Teacher. Ruth enjoyed spending time working her garden, crafting, and making baked goods for her family and friends. She loved her family dearly and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Adkins Sr.; sons: Richard Adkins and Darrell Adkins; siblings: Calvin, Curt, CW, Shirley, and Peggy.

She is survived by her two sons: Harry Adkins Jr. of Fountain, Florida, Donald Ray Adkins of Fountain, Florida; grandchildren: Ricky, Melissa, Mandy, Tabitha, Dustin, and Jacob; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Graveside funeral service will be held 11A.M. Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Adkins Family cemetery in Fountain, Florida.
