Mrs. Ruby Cutchins age 72 of Cottondale passed from this life February 16, 2011. Mrs. Cutchins was born on October 16, 1938 in Jackson County to Wilmer and Ethel Long Shouppe. Mrs. Cutchins is lifelong resident of Cottondale and a member of the Friendship Assembly of God church. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Brown Funeral home at 2:30 P.M., with Rev. Robert Simmons and Rev. Dwayne Tolbert officiating, burial will follow in the Assembly of God Cemetery in Cottondale with Brown Funeral of Chipley directing. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 at the Main Street Chapel. Survivors include her husband, Carl Cutchins of Cottondale. 1 son David Lewis of Cottondale. 2 daughters Karen Harrison of Cottondale and Katie Bowen of Graceville, 1 brother Jimmy Shouppe of Cottondale and 3 sisters Ann Tharpe, Elouise Kent, Shila Rushing all of Cottondale. 5 grand children and 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
