Obituary

Mrs. Rosa Marylene "SUGAR" Willis age 93 of Vernon, Florida, died in Panama City on November 24th, 2009. She was a native of Ohio, the daughter of John Gilbert and Eva Gornall; but had resided in the Panama City Beach and Vernon area since 1952. She was a devoted wife and companion, assisting her husband, the late Rev. Frank Willis, in singing, evangelistic, pastoral church work and was always at her husband's side. She graduated from high school in Ohio, and was employed by Curtiss Wright Corp (Navy plane factory) during World War II. She was a member of the Abigail Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother Col. (Ret) Lowell Gornall, of Atlanta, Georgia and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her Husband, her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Willis will be held at Abigail Free Will Baptist Church in Vernon, Tuesday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Troy Lee Walsingham officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery south of Vernon, Florida beside her husband.

The family will receive friends at Abigail Free Will Baptist Church from 10AM to 11 AM prior to services.
