Rosa Lee Hicks, age 63 of Wausau, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her home. Rosa was born July 19, 1947 in Hartford, Alabama to the late Henry L. and Erlene (Hall) Crawson. She had been a resident of Washington County for the past 40 years and was a homemaker and former lunch room worker at Vernon High School. She was a member of Christian Haven Church. Survivors include one Son: Archie Hicks of Wausau, three Step-Sons; T.J. Hicks of Wausau, Kerry Hicks of Orlando and Bill Hicks of Cullman, Alabama, three Step-Daughters; Cindy Zabell of Vernon, Rebecca Mizell of Wausau and Susan Brazenton of Panama City, three Brothers; James Crawson of San Antonio, Texas, Dutch Crawson of Marianna and Alvin Crawson of Bonifay, one Sister; Dora Sosebee of Cornelia, Georgia and several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, August 3, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with the Rev. Carlos Finch and Rev. Bob Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in Wausau Memorial Gardens.
