Mr. Ronnie Alan "Ronzo" Ladd, 69, born February 12, 1955 of Camilla, GA left this world unexpectedly March 17, 2024 to reunite with loved ones who have gone before. Ronnie was born and raised in Chipley, FL where he spent the majority of his life. He most recently resided in Camilla, GA with family. He was preceded in death by his father Daughtry Ladd, mother Minnie Lois Griffin, both of Chipley, and his eldest son Scott Alan Ladd of Pensacola.

Ronnie was the eldest and is survived by 7 siblings: Teresa Newsome of Cumming, GA, Annette Lawrence (Jake) of Cottondale, FL, Gerald Ladd of Chipley, FL, James Ladd of Mobile, AL, William Earl Griffin of Eufala, AL, William Dwayne Griffin (Sandra) of Oklahoma City, OK and Donna Griffin of Chipley, FL. He leaves behind his adult children Erik Alan Ladd (Crystal) of Camilla, GA, Loretta Lynn Ladd of Cowpens, SC and Chelsea Lynn Ladd of Marianna, FL.

A devoted Florida Gator fan known for his amusing character and spirited demeanor, he could squeeze a laugh out of most anyone he met. He had a thing for prescribing nicknames. If you knew him, just assume he had a nickname for you, whether you knew it or not. Without a doubt his greatest achievement and most beloved nickname of all was that of "Paw-Paw".

Saddened immensely by the loss of their grandfather; Ronnie's legacy lives on in the hearts of his cherished grandchildren: Kyndal Leighanne Harden (Drew) of Pelham, GA, Brayden Ely Ladd and Brody Kade Ladd both of Camilla, GA, Marlayna Lynn Rolison, Miranda Lee Rolison and Marissa Elaine Rolison all of Cowpens, SC, and Maelynn Strickland of Marianna, FL.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held in his honor at Brown Funeral Home, Chipley, FL on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 10:30 am.
