Ronald L. (Ronnie) Odom, age 59 of Chipley, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 in the Bay Medical Center. Ronnie was born September 24, 1952 to James Autis and Joyce Odom. He had lived most of his life in Jonesboro, Georgia and Chipley, Florida. He was a retired painter (The Flag Pole Man) and a member of the Holmes Creek Baptist Church in Chipley. He is predeceased by his father and a sister, Sandra Hilsman. Survivors include; his mother, Joyce Agee of Chipley; three daughters, Melissa Odom of Panama City, Kelley Del Rio and husband Eddie of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Vickie Holt and husband Brad of Chipley; one brother, Steve Odom of Atlanta; five grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening October 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Chapel with the Rev. Carson Fender officiating. Interment will follow in Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery.
