Robert Earl Williams, age 78 of Chipley, Florida, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at North West Florida Community Hospital. He was born October 8, 1931 in Noma, Florida to William and Sallie (Blue) Williams Sanford.He worked for D.O.T in the Compliance Office. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Chipley. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S A.F for 21 years, a mason member of the Orion Masonic Lodge in Chipley. Survivors include his wife Eva Williams of Chipley, Florida; one son; Rob Williams and wife Tina of Lynn Haven Florida, one daughter; Susan Grimes and husband Harry of Chipley, Florida, one sister; Helen Hill and husband Tommy of Panama City, Florida, two grandchildren; John Williams and Jessica Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00A.M. Friday December 4, 2009 at 1st Methodist Church in Chipley with Rev. Jerry May officiating. Visitation will be Thursday December 3, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00P.M, at Brown Funeral Home Hwy 77 Chapel. Interment will follow at Noma City Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Family will be excepting flowers or donations can be made to 1st United Methodist Church of Chipley building fund.
