Robert E. Walters, age 67 of Chipley, FL passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Bay Medical Center. Robert was born September 6, 1947 to the late Daniel and Leola (Johns) Walters in Wausau, FL. He is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and a member of the Gap Pond Free Will Baptist Church. He also servied in the United State Army for three years. Robert is survived by his wife, Elvia Walters of Chipley, FL, four sons, Steven Walters of Marianna, FL, Takota Walters of Bonifay, FL, Dustin Walters of Bonifay, FL, Logan Walters of Bonifay, FL, one daughter, Sandra Egan of Port St. Lucy, FL, two step sons, Nicholas Smith of Chipley, FL, Johnathan Smith of Chipley, FL, one step daughter, Kaitlyn Christian of Cottondale, FL, two brothers, Daniel Walters of Southport, FL, Owen Mcquage of Southport, FL, two sisters, Doris Burnsed of Southport, FL, Jean Parrish of California, three grandchildren, Ashley Egan, Miranda Egan (United States Army), Maddison Thompson. Family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel with Reverend Billy Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow at the Gap Pond Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
