Obituary
Robert Colonel Smith, age 72 of Wausau, FL went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Colonel was born on February 6, 1944 in Wausau, FL to the late Newton and Llie Mae (Taylor) Smith.
He is a lifelong resident of the Wausau area and was a member of Potters Hand Church.
Colonel is preceded in death by two sons, Stacy and David Smith. Survivors include, his wife, Sheila Smith of Wausau, FL, two sons, John R. Smith and Adam C. Smith, one daughter, Susan Penn, two brothers, T.D. Smith and Emmitt Smith, three sisters, Juanell Owens, Launell Harvey, Mary Ellen Barnes and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at The Bridge with Reverend Anthony Hagen, Reverend Danny Burns and Reverend Adam Smith. Interment will follow at Wausau Memorial Gardens with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral service.
