Robert H. Massey, age 88 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Bay Medical Sacred Heart in Panama City, FL.  He was born on June 30, 1930 to the late Robert J. and Myrtle (Jones) Massey in Birmingham, AL.

Robert served the Lord for many years Pastoring at Country Oaks Baptist Church and Unity Baptist Church.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Carter Massey, sister, Lola McCalley.  He is survived by two sons, Barry Massey of Panama City, FL, Randy Massey of Birmingham, AL, grandson, Rue Massey, two granddaughters, Amy Melvin and Bethany Murrah, great grandson, Caleb Murrah, great granddaughters, Kiley and Katelynn Melvin and Madolyn and Isabella Murrah, two sisters, Roberta Moore and Melva Henderson.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home from 4:00-5:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service starting at 5:00 P.M.  Interment will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Croft Acton Cemetery in Hoover, AL at 1:00 P.M. with Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
