Robert Johnson, age 84, passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on March 20, 1938 to Richard Paul Johnson and Margaret Emma Hansell. Robert had retired from the United States Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters. Robert is survived by his two sons; Robert Johnson Jr. and his wife Mary, Michael Paul Johnson and his wife Lisa, his daughter; Marqueta Bentley and her husband Doug, 6 grandchildren; Jeremiah and Kaitlyn Johnson, Andrew and Heather Bentley and Caitlyn  and Hunter Taunton, and one great grandchild; Taeshaun Farmer.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 27, 2022 at Sand Hills Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Nixon Miller, Rev. Steve Scurlock and Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Interment  will follow in the New Southport Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
