Robert Lee Cartwright, age 90 of Graceville, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. Mr. Cartwright was born in Graceville, Florida on April 1, 1922 to the late Buch Hanan (Grady) Cartwright and Emma Lena (Johnson) Cartwright. He had been a life-long resident of Graceville, a retired self-employed landscaper and member of the Holmes Creek Baptist Church. He was a W.W.II veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by; two brothers, J.W. Cartwright and Grady Cartwright, Jr.; four sisters, Jackie Vick, Monette Gladys Callaway, Mary Etta McDaniel and Mary Alice Cartwright. Survivors include: one son, Charles Robert Cartwright of Graceville; two daughters, Katrine Cartwright Jackson of Naples, Florida and Brenda Gayle (Baby Girl) Cartwright of Naples, Florida; one sister, Pearl Bateman of Graceville; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening November 4th, 2012, from 5 to 6:30 at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel with Rev. Tim Steele officiating.
