Richard Beddoe, age 83 of Chipley, FL passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home. Richard was born in Blakely, PA on December 11, 1931 to the late Allan and Emma (Smithburger) Beddoe. He has been a resident of the Chipley area for the past year and a half coming from Mercersburg, PA. Richard served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force and worked as a Field Engineer for NASA. He is survived by his children, two sons, Richard Beddoe and wife Mina of Minneapolis, MINN, Gary Simpson of California, three daughters, Allyson Murray of St. Cloud, FL, Kathy Kenney of Annapolis, MD, Tracey Metcalf of St. Thomas, PA, one brother and three sisters, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his best friend Nancy Smith. Memorialization will be by cremation. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
