Richard L. Barrentine, age 70, passed from this life Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his home. He was born in Donaldsonville, GA on August 30, 1946 to Lem and Dollie "Alford" Barrentine. Richard served 26 years in the National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Lorraine Matthews and son; Richard Lamar Barrentine. Richard is survived by his wife Diana Barrentine. Two daughters; Karen Formby and husband Lamar and Teresa Barrentine. One step-son; Robert Worthington. Six grandchildren; Andrew Webb and wife Courtney, Jacob Formby, Joshua Formby and wife Brittni, Job Formby, Trent Worthington, and Hunter Worthington. Two great grandsons; Oliver Formby and Ryder Webb and one brother; Eddie Barrentine and wife Linda. Funeral services will be held 3:00P.M., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Watford officiating. Interment will follow in the Cottondale Assembly of God Cemetery in Cottondale, FL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
