Rebecca Ann Schils, 64 of Chipley, passed from this life on June 27, 2026 at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.

Becky was born on December 19, 1961 in Lompoc, California to Hamp and Ruby Lee (Hatcher) Parker. A resident of the Florida Panhandle since 1964, she worked as an LPN for many years and had a true servant's heart. She was known for her positive outlook on life and always putting others before herself. Becky had a true warrior spirit and will be remembered as a fighter, facing all of lifes troubles head on, and without complaint. She was musically gifted, talented at both the piano and guitar, and loved life in general. Rebecca was a proud mother and wife who loved her family dearly. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 45+ years, Lee Schils of Chipley, Florida; one son: Brodrick Schils and significant other Cynthia Harlow of Chipley, Florida; one daughter: Brandi Schils and significant other Nate Scheer of Oklahoma; her dog who she loved dearly: Punkin Doodle; granddog: Bonnie.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Compton and staff at Davita Chipley Dialysis for their outstanding care they gave Rebecca in the final years of her life.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
