Phaethan Lee Duncan, age 61, of Chipley, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Olin Duncan, mother Addie Lunsford, and step-mother Helen Duncan. He is survived by sister; Evonne Tharp and husband George of Crestview, Fl., stepbrother; Hugh Tobias of Washington State, stepsister; Jan Moore and husband Dave of Louisiana, Aunt Peggy Redmon and husband Lloyd of Chipley, Aunt Hazel Haddock of Panama City, Fl. Phaethan was born August 24, 1949, in Chipley, Fl. He resided in Vero Beach, Fl. for several years and later in Panama City, Fl, where he was a building contractor. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ernie Gray officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Emerald Coast Hospice.
