Perry Cledus Penny, 75, of Newton died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Born November 23, 1948 in Jackson County, FL, Mr. Penny was the son of the late Perry Mack Penny and Mattie Pearl Floyd Penny.  He worked as supervisor of production at Plantation Seed.

Survivors include his wife, Alice M. Penny of Newton;  sons, Mike Penny of Pelham and Greg Penny (Stacey) of Bainbridge;  daughters, Penny Lynn Eure (Steven) of Elmodel and Debra Lea Guerin (Rich) of Denver, NC;  six grandchildren, Christopher Penny (Fallyn), Kaitlyn Penny, Tyler Eure, Dani Daughtry (Donnie), Paige Parker (Charles), Matthew Penny;  four great grandchildren, Bryce Parker, Sara Parker, Aubrey Daughtry, Ashton Daughtry;  two brothers, Wayne Penny (Linda) and Franklin Penny (Delores);  one sister, Sheila Smith (Mickey).

Graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 26, 2024 at Sapp Church Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 P.M. before the service at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
