Perry Mack Penny, age 99, passed from this life March 3, 2016 at Signature Health Care At The Courtyard in Marianna, FL. He was born in Jackson County, FL on November 20, 1916 to John Dallon and Ida (Davis) Penny.

Perry worked as a Furniture Finisher for Lehigh Furniture and was a member of Sapp Church where he had been a deacon for 24 years. He was also in the American Legion and a Army Veteran of WWII.

Perry is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and his sisters. He is survived by his wife Mattie Pearl Floyd of Marianna, FL. His sons; Franklin Dowling Penny and wife Deloris of Bonifay, FL, Perry Cledus Penny and wife Alice of Newton, GA, and Donald Wayne Penny and wife Linda of Sneads, FL. One daughter; Sheila Smith and husband Mickey of Cottondale, FL, 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Sapp Church with the Rev. Robert Simmons and Rev. Bill Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the Sapp Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 P.M. Prior to the service.
