Mary "Peggy" Redmon, age 89 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at her home.  She was born on October 2, 1932 in Washington County, FL to the late Jim Rabon and Lavada Tharp.

She is a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and was an avid member of First Baptist Church of Chipley.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Redmon and daughter, Janie Varnum. Survivors include one son, Jeff Redmon and wife Connie of Chipley, FL, four grandchildren, Shane Smith (Paula), Shannon O'Toole, Jessica Zimmer (Rainar), Mindy Shelley (Steven), ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Chipley. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Reverend Mike Orr will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at New Hinson Cemetery in Fadette, AL.
