Peggy P. Keeffee, age 81, of Chipley, FL, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in her home. Peggy was born on September 11, 1933 to the late Oscar and Lonia (Cullifer) Pouncey. She has been a resident of Chipley for over 50 years and worked as a Registered Nurse and retired from the State of Florida as a Social Worker. Peggy was a member of the Chipley Women's Club and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charlie Joe Keeffee, two brothers, Jack Brabham and Bill Pouncey, and two sisters, Reba Bush and Beth Lybrand. She is survived by one son and wife, Ed and Tamalah Keeffee of Loganville, GA, and two daughters, Margaret Petronio and husband John of Tallahassee, FL, Elizabeth Miller of Mechanicsville, VA, and six grandchildren, Brandon Keeffee, Jonathan Keeffee, Kayla Keeffee, Mary Beth Miller, William Miller, and Aubrey Pickett. Funeral services will be held 11:00A.M., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Chipley, FL with the Rev. Jack Homoney officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonifay City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
