Patricia Ann Dampier, age 39 of Chipley, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 in Shands Hospital at the University Of Florida. A native of Naples, Florida, Patricia had been a resident of Chipley for the past 15 years, coming from Tennessee. In addition to her children and family, she loved butterflies and was a caregiver to her father for many years. Patricia is predeceased by a brother, James Michael Terrett. Survivors include; her father, Felix Dampier of Bonifay; her mother, Deborah Mason and husband Terry of Lebanon, Tennessee; one son, Myles Jordan Gatewood of Clarksville, Tn.; two daughters. Jazmen Kaye Gatewood of Chipley and Patience Renee Mason of Lebanon, Tn.; two brothers, Edwin Dwayne Dampier of Marianna and Kevin Ray Dampier of Chipley; one sister, Melissa Kaye Dampier of Centerville, Tn.; her fiancé, Phillip Potter of Chipley. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Cremation will follow.
