Ouidas (Buck) Wendell Sowell, age 76 of Chipley, FL passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Buck was born September 1, 1938 in Chipley, FL to the late Odell and Ethel (Payne) Sowell. He was a member of the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver. Buck is preceded in death by one brother, Delmer Sowell. Survivors include, one son, Kenneth Darrell of Oklahoma City, OK, two daughters, Ouida Lynn Sowell of Chipley, FL, Toni Anita of Cutbank Montana, two brothers, Eugene Floyd of Graceville, FL, Dewey Sowell of Little Rock, AR, one sister, Mavis Baxter of Cottondale, FL., five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Barwick officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior for visitation. Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
