Oma Lou Carroll, 73, of Westville, Florida, passed from this life on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at Flowers Hospital, Dothan, Ala. She was born on March 15, 1937 to James Leon and LuJean (Thomas) Jones in Chipley, Florida. She was a life long resident of the Sweet Gum Head Community. She was a member of the Sweet Gum Head Church of Christ. A member of the Ladies Auxillary, V.F.W. Dothan, Ala. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Louie Ray Jones. Survivors include her Son: Clifford and wife Sandra Carroll, Westville, Florida. Daughter: Maggie and husband Bobby Moyer, Westville, Florida Three Grandchildren: Kellee Jackson, Westville, Florida T.J. Carroll of North Carolina and Tyler Covington, Westville, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Satuday, February 26, 2011 at the Camp Ground Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Galloway, officiating. The interment will follow in the Camp Ground Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home, directing. The body will lie in state at the home until time of the service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the home.
