Norma M. Russell, age 76 of Chipley Fl., formerly of New Castle, DE passed away at home on October 2, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Daughter of the late Norman B. Cake and Mary V, Stevenson and wife and best friend of the late Donald L. Russell. This year they will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary together with Our Lord and Protector.

Norma is survived by her loving family, Darby and Millard Walters, Diane Jump and William Hucker, Dawn and Joseph Hancock, Kurt and Vicky Downward, Donald and Sarah Russell, Joan, Behn and Ahren Wartenburg, and Joan Cake. Her beautiful and adored grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Michael, Robert, Alec, Timmy, Christine, Thomas,Tyler, Janice, Pamela, Steven,and Margaret. great grandchildren, great great grandson, nieces and nephews, her dear friends, Wayne Palmore, Ammond & Nancy Pitts, Sonny and Diane Adams and John and Anita Murphy. She will watch over the birth of her soon expected great grandson Kyle Andrew Stafford.

Norma is preceded in death by her precious grandson Andrew Paul Stafford, her daughters, Mary Katherine Downward, Monica Sue Downward, her brothers Norman B Cake and Walter E. Cake.
Her never ending love for her family and friends was evident throughout her life. She loved and cared for many. Norma would rather give than receive and she would rather help than be helped. She will be remembered most for her generosity to others. She loved her family, living on " The Hill " and playing bingo.
