Neal Robert Nyholm, age 89 of Sunny Hills, FL passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Washington County Rehab and Nursing Center in Chipley, FL. He was born July 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Nils and Anna (Johnson) Nyholm. Neal was a member of the United States Navy and served in World War II. After coming home from the war he worked with the Nassau County New York Police Department until he retired and he was one of the founders of the Lake Lauderdale Campground Inc. in Cambridge, NY. Neal has been a resident of the Washington County area since 1975 moving from Long Island, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Pedersen Nyholm, one son, Robert Nyholm of Colorado and one daughter, Dorothy Bloomfield of Long Island, NY. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
