Nancy Evelyn Bylsma, age 77, of Lynn Haven, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 23, 1938, in Chipley, Florida to the late Chilton James and Letha Evelyn (Temples) Reynolds.
Evelyn was a lifelong resident of the Bay, Washington, and Holmes county area, and enjoyed her job as the Daycare Director at Kindercare. She also loved and attended the Sunshine Sunday School Class at highland park Baptist Church, introduced to her by her dear friend, Toby Rogers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Horace Jack Jenkins, husband John Bylsma, and one son, Jack Jenkins Bylsma of Bay County.
She is survived by one son, George Jenkins Bylsma of Bonifay, FL, two daughters, Pam Lavender and husband Todd of Gallatin, TN, and Elizabeth Bylsma and husband Eric Blien of Deer Point, FL, one brother, Albert Davis and wife Ann, three sisters, Lola Carlile, Arelene Shaw and husband A.V., and Libby Pape, three grandchildren, Trey Lavender, Dalton Hutchinson, Mark Lavender, In Laws, Erwin and Gisela Pross, Elka Mosier, Otto and Patricia Bylsma as well as many other close friends and family.
Family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on May 11, 2016, also in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Chipley, FL. with Brown Funeral Home directing.
