MSgt Norman "Norm" F. Hazard, USAF (ret), 72, passed from this life on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 24, 1942 to Norman and Gladys (Draa) Hazard. A Vietnam Veteran, Norm retired from the USAF, worked for the Panama City Beach and Bay County Sheriff's Department, and government contractors. Among his many hobbies, he enjoyed woodworking and bass fishing (Panama City Bass Masters and Mossyback Bass Club). Preceded in death by his parents. Norm is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley; two children, Katey Britt (Jeff) of Aliceville, AL; Michael Hazard (Tessa) of Vernon, FL; three grandchildren, Tyler Britt, Abbygail Hazard, and Barhett Hazard; brother, Patrick Hazard (Collette) of Lynn Haven, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Emerald Coast Hospice for the loving and caring support for Norm and the family. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorilization by cremation.
