Moses Braxton, age 91 of Cottondale, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

He was born on November 22, 1924 in Cottondale, FL to the late Melton and Clara (Toole) Braxton. Moses is a lifelong resident of Cottondale and is a member of Cottondale First Assembly of God Church.

Moses is survived by one son, Kenneth Braxton and wife Diane of Cottondale, FL, one daughter, Brenda Hewitt and husband David of Winter Haven, FL, one brother, Joe Braxton, two sisters, Alice Merchant, Eunice McCall, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Cottondale First Assembly of God Church at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Chris Franklin, Reverend Raul Hernandez and Reverend James Lamb officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will follow at the Cottondale First Assembly Cemetery with Brown Funeral directing.
