Mitchell L. Oliver, age76, of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Friday, March 10, 2023.  He was born on December 1, 1946 in Miami, FL to the late Sidney Leon Oliver and Georgia (Sumner) Oliver.

Mitchell has been a resident of the Washington County area since 1995.  He worked for the Bay County Sheriff Office as a Deputy Sheriff until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dana Costa.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years Sarah (Stewart) Oliver, a daughter, Stacey Brewer and husband Mike with their children Courtney and Michael, a daughter, Denna Oliver Scheinhoft with her son, and daughter, Nikki Melquist Buchanan and husband Les with their children, two brothers, Sidney Oliver Jr., Michael Oliver, two sisters, Nancy Fisher, Gracie Garcia, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
