Minnie Sasser Richter, age 69 of Chipley, passed away Wednesday, July 02, 2014 in Chipley. Minnie was born July 20, 1944 in Chipley to the late Dean and Mary Frances (Baker) Sasser. She had been a lifelong resident of Chipley and was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Bruce Richter. Survivors include; two brothers, Marvin Sasser and wife Gloria of Chipley, Millard Sasser and wife Margie of Clovis, California; six sisters, Mildred Hendrix and husband Billy of Wausau, Mary Elizabeth Pettis of Crestview, Martha Wilkin of Chipley, Myrtle Matthews and husband Henry of Chipley, Mamie Hayes and husband Tom of Panama City, Florida, Mavis Barfield and husband Joe of Niceville, Florida. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Millard Sasser officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
