Minnie Jewel Taylor, age 102, passed from this life Monday, October 20, 2025 at Community Health and Rehab Center in Panama City, FL. She was born in Randolph County, Georgia on June 22, 1923 to A.E. and Annie Bell (Daniels) Brown. Minnie was a Pastor's wife, loved gardening, loved her Family and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Panama City, Florida. She worked as a Retail Sales Manager for Grants Department Store, Gaffers and Woolworth.

Minnie is preceded by her parents, her first husband and first love of 56 years, Luther A. Norris and her second husband Joe Taylor, her sons, Rodger Norris and Bill Norris and her brother, John Arthur Brown.

She is survived by her grandson, Luke Norris and wife Andrea of Sunny Hills, Florida and her sister, Shirley Higgins of South Carolina.

Mrs. Taylor's service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 24, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
