Minnie Lois Griffin, age 77, of Chipley, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Bay Medical Center Hospital. Minnie was born June 11, 1937 in Bellwood, AL to the late Wilmer and Ethel (Youngblood) Kelley. She was a homemaker and has lived here most of her life. Mrs. Griffin loved her family and working in her garden. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by two husbands, Daughtry Ladd and William Noah Griffin Jr. as well as one step-son Rusty Griffin. Minnie is survived by her five sons Ronnie Ladd of Baconton, GA, Gerald Ladd of Chipley, FL, James Ladd of Chipley, FL, William Earl Griffin of Dallas, TX, and William Dwayne Griffin of Oklahoma City, OK.; three daughters, Teresa Ladd Newsome of Tallahassee,, FL, Annette Ladd Lawrence of Graceville, FL, and Donna Renee Griffin of Marianna, FL; several siblings, many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she adored. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
