Mildred Marie Schils, age 83, of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Flowers Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on July 20, 1935 in Washington County, FL to the late James A. and Evelyn L. (Varnum) Pelham.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Willia, Pelham, Millard Pelham, Collie Pelham, Jay Pelham, two sisters, Victoria Lang, Lucille Pelham.

Survivors include, her loving husband, Walter Schils of Chipley, FL, two sons, Robert Clifton Bethea and wife Tanya of Chipley, FL, Steven Timothy Bethea and wife Tracey of Colorado, seven grandchildren, Brandy Sapp and husband Shane of Chipley, FL, Bobby Bethea and wife Heather of Panama City, FL, Sarah Biddle and husband Brandon of Chipley, FL, Megan Bethea of Chipley, FL, Tyler Bethea and wife Emily, David Bethea and wife Aubry Nicole, Gabriel Bethea all of Georgia, 12 great grandchildren, one step son, Lee Schils and wife Becky of Panama City, FL and their children Broderick Schils and Brandy Nicole Schils, four brothers, Wilfred Pelham and wife Betty, Henry Pelham and wife Linda, Curtis Pelham and wife Cherry, Roy Pelham all of South Florida, two sisters, Joyce Johnson and husband Hueland, Gloria Clark and husband Warren both of Chipley, FL, one aunt, Lanita Varnum of Chipley, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Family will have a Memorial Service at First Baptist Church of Chipley, FL, on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Mike Orr officiating.
