Merle Faye Dinkins, age 57 of Holmes Creek Community, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at home. Merle was born July 8, 1953 in Chipley to the late Raymond and Mildred (Farmer) Ward. She was a homemaker and was of Christian faith. Survivors include; her husband, James B. Dinkins of Homes Creek Community; two sons, Johnathan Taylor and wife Cheryl of Bonifay and Jason Taylor and wife Jennifer of New Hope, Fla.; two brothers, Leon Ward of New Hope and Monroe Ward of Wausau, Fla.; she was lovingly know as MeMa by her grandchildren, Clayton and Chloe Taylor, Ethan and Sarah Taylor. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Assembly Of God Church in Bonifay with the Rev. John Yarbrough Chance officiating. Cremation will follow.
