Maxine Viola Roche, age 71 of Cottondale, died Friday July 3rd, 2009 at her home. Born March 9th, 1938 to Bruce and Veta (Locke) Ritcher, she was a native and life-long resident of Cottondale, a former waitress and was of Holiness faith. Survivors include her Step-Mother; Minnie Ritcher of Cottondale, one Son: Rodney Pettis of Cottondale, one Daughter; Lynn Jones of Chipley, two Brothers: Devon Richter of Bonifay, Marty Richter of Cottondale and one Sister; Yvone Still of Cottondale. Six Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6th, 2009 at 10 A.M. in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Richter officiating. Cremation will follow. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
