Ms. Maude S. Parry went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the age of 86. She was a resident of Ebro, FL and a member of Spring Valley Holiness Church.

She was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on September 11, 1937 to Wayne R. Posten and Zona Mae Hart. Her stepmother was Grace Plunkett Posten. Her father was a well-known auctioneer in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Ms. Maude worked with her father in the auction business starting in 1954 and retired in 1973. She was a very caring Mom and she loved meeting people, always trying to help. She loved volunteering at the Thrift Store in Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne R. Posten of East Stroudsburg, PA, mother Zona Mae Hart, husband William "Bill" Parry of East Stroudsburg, PA, son Alvin B. Merring III of Ebro, FL and brother Robert Wayne Posten of Arnold, Maryland.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Debra Medeiros of Ebro, FL., daughter Josephine Rosemen Valesco of Branson, MO, son Benjamn Wayne Merring and wife Ruhamah C. Tanner-Merring of Carbondale, PA,  several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Her wishes were to hold no services. Any donations in her memory she wanted to go to Spring Valley Holiness Church in Ebro, FL.
