Mary Lou Padgett, age 91 of Bonifay, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011. Mary Lou was born August 20, 1919 in Bonifay to the late William Richard and Louvenia (Dyson) Andrews.
She was a homemaker and life-long resident of Holmes County. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Glen Padgett; a son, Dennis Hayes; two brothers, Ellie J. and Rudolph Andrews and a sister, Zella B. Flournoy. Survivors include; one daughter, Kathryn (John) Lominac of Destin, Fla.; one brother, Elzie (Lorna) Andrews of Siletz, Oregon; one sister, Elsie (Purvis) Ham of Plant City, Florida; five grandchildren, Al Ward (Donna) of Bonifay, Cathy (Ronnie) Miller of Bonifay, Brenda (Doug) Harris of Destin, Greg Hayes of Bonifay and Sammy Hayes of Bonifay; five great grandchildren, Ashley (Curtis) Pepe, Shawna Harris, Brandon Hayes, Meagan Hayes and Zeke Hayes. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. at the Graveside in Live Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Covenant Hospice, 4215 Kelson Ave. Suite E., Marianna, Fla. 32446. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
