Mary Janie Lamb Steinbach, age 69, passed from this life September 10, 2011 at her home in Chipley. Ms. Steinbach was born in Columbus, Ga. on January 7, 1942 to the late Benjamin Joseph and Myrtle (Alverson) Lamb. She worked as a homemaker and moved to Chipley in 1977 coming from Kenesaw, Georgia. Ms. Steinbach has worked for the last several years at Washington County Council on Aging. She is survived by four sons; Chris Steinbach of Tampa, Florida, Matt Steinbach of Chipley, Florida, Kirk Steinbach of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Nick Steinbach of Orlando, Florida. One sister; JoAnn de la Moriniere of Ball Ground, Georgia. Ms. Steinbach was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel on Main Street. Memorialization will be by cremation.
