Mrs. Dyke was born on December 14, 1919 in Graceville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late James Powell and Pebble Williams Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Earl Dyke, and by her son, Hugh Andrew Dyke. She was a retired Registered Nurse for Georgia Regional Hospital. She served in the United States Army-Air Force during WWII. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of Daughters of the Confederacy. Mrs. Dyke passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Serenity Place.
Mrs. Dyke is survived by her son Thomas and Donna Dyke of Dublin, a daughter-in-law, Mary Dyke of Augusta, a sister, Rebecca, 6 grandchildren, Mary Beth Dyke Veneer, Josh Dyke, John Thomas Dyke, Ashley Dyke, Vickie Dyke Dorn, and Andy Dyke, and 5 great grandchildren. The family received friends Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 8:00 P.M. at Stanley Funeral Home Chapel in Dublin, GA. Graveside funeral services for Mary H. Dyke, age 95 will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Galilee United Methodist Church Cemetery in Graceville, Florida with Brown Funeral Home directing.
